Sir } _Wo ehall be glad if you will kindly allow ub space in your paper to correct the paragraph which appeared under the heading of "Miscellaneous Cables" in your issue, of yesterday's date in, respect, to tho Motor Grand Prix held on the Lyons Course, France, which states that the distance, viz. 486 miles, was covered in 25 hours 4 minutes 38 l-sth seconds. ■- This is incorrect, as the winner, Monsieur Lautenshlay, in a Mercedes car, fitted with Continental tyres, negotiated the course at the terrific average speed of a 6hado over 69 miles per hour,' equivalent to 7.hours 1 minute 18 eeconds for tho entiro distance.—Yours, etc., ~ ■'" ' CONTINENTAL C.
