Tno following cable message has been sent to London by the Waihi Company:—No. 9 level, Empre lode -west of No. 2 shaft, crosscut 45ft driven, value i>er ton 655; width varies from lft to sft. No. 10 level, Boyal West, 43 fset driven, value per ton 495.' Crosscut at 970 feet, width 10 feet, valuo per ton 10s 6d. Lode in Reptile crosscut, 34 feot driven, value per ton 7e. Empire lode west, 29 feet driven, value per ton 43»; width about 2 feet. Edward lode, east section, 15 feet driven, value per ton 57e. Crosscut at 680 feet, first 10 feet value per ton 55s 6d, next 10 feet value per ton lla. No. 11 level, Dreadnought weet, 15 feet driven, value per ton 2<s Gd. At 219 feet west on Dreadnought, have intersected north branch of Royal lode, 5 feet -wide, value per ton 37a.
