"WOOLSTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The last meeting, of the "Woolston School Committee was attended by Messrs D. Rowae, J. Gatehouse, J. Prisk, J. Ballantyne, W. Garton, Rev. Roberts, Mesdames Wilson and Newtcn. The headmaster's report showed an average attendance of 624, wih a roll number of 690. The Education Board wrote stating that the annual examination of the school would tako place on June 24th. It was deeded to hold a picnic this year, and that the Indies of the district be asked to meet for the purpose of raising funds for the picnic and school prizes. Messrs Carlylc and Owen were thanked for their past servir.es on the committee. Messrs Rowse, Gatehouse, and Mesdames Newton were appointed a Visiting Committee, for the month.
