SIR JOSEPH WARD IN THE NORTH.

KAWA KAWA, June 10. During the course of a political address at Kawa Kawa to-night, Sir Joseph Ward announced that X»r Buck had been unanimously selected by a conference of delegates to contest the Bay of Islands seat at the next election in the Liberal party's interests. Sir Joseph Ward addressed a large and enthusiastic audience at Kawa Kawa to-night ,_and received an excellent hearing. He spoke on the lines of his former speeches, and received a vote of thanks and confidence.

Dr Buck gave a short address, eulogising the work of the Liberals.
