LINWOOD BRANCH.

A meeting of ladies was held on Monday in the .Liuwood Library. Mrs J. It. Briint presided. It was''decided to allot the district into sixteen sub-districts and to moke a- thorough canvat>s. Official collecting books wouid be provided and a number of the blocks were arranged for. There are several blocks etill unattached which the committee are hoping will soon bo taken up. « A vote of thanks'was carried to the Library committee for tho use of thn room for the meeting.

It was decided to mwt again nest Tuesday to" report progress.
