Questioned as to his duties in Now Zealand, ho said he had heard nothing definite, as affairs seemed to bo a trifle chaotic. He understood that New Zealand wanted to adopt a naval system something different from that prevailing at present. Probably ho would romain in the Dominion for threo years.
