Mr B. V. \Pemberton, Acting-Governmeni Meteorologist, pupplied the following weather summary and forecast at 5 p.m. vester^:— Anti-cyclonic conditiona have prevailed, with fair to cloudy weather generally. The winds have been moderate and variable, but northerly breexea have predominated to-day in and eouthwurd_ of Cook Strait. Present indications are for freshcn:ng northerly and westerly winds, and a falling barometer. The'weather ia i likely to become cloudy and misty, with rain following in most parts of the country.
