ARMED TENSION.
(Received June Bth, 9.g5 p.m.) LONDON, Juno 8. The Archbishop of York, in a letter to the newspapers, urges Parliament to face the facts of the Irish crisis afresh. Ho emphasises that since some form of exclusion for Ulster is an immediate necessity, it will be dangerous to prolong the armed tension by making proposals concerning the duration or era of such exclusion. On thro other hand, Ulster's exclusion has not solved the problem, but it ought to bo the prelude to a serious attempt to deviso a system of devolution Mn which England .wonld be assured pf a place.
The Nationalists captured the Cork County Coimqif, tho O'Brienists losing seven divisions, including .Monkstown, hitherto represented by Mr McDonald, chairman of the All-for-Ireland League.
