This week Mr Asquith and Air Churchill havo been plied with questions about tho gun-running episodo at Ulster, and the steps previously taken by the First Lord in connexion wi*.a the movements of the squadron. j Sir W Bull enquired of the First j Lord whether his Majesty's ebip.JNow Zealand was among tno warships lately ordered to proceed to Lamlasn Bay in connexion with tho anticipated contingpney of active operations in Ulster, ancf, if so, whether the Government- of the Dominion of Now Zealaud was consults! before the s,hin was ordered to participate in this particular service. He also wanted tho I'roinier. to say whether, in the event, of civil disturnances hi tlie United ships contributed to tho Imperial ftayy by tho Diim'njons or of his Majesty oversea were considered liable for eervico ir such conflicts; if tho ({oternmontrs of any Dominions or Dependencies had been consulted on this subject; if not, whether it was proposed in future to consult them bcioro such ships are so used, and if any British Government oversea had been oonyultfid on £his point, what the result of th 3 Consultation had boon.
Mr Churchill, who Teplied to bot'i questions, said;—No, sir. The Now Zealand was not among tho ships ordered to proceed to Lamlash.
