In Christchurch on Saturday the Hon. R. .H. It was pointed out that if the supporters of tho Domain were brought under the provisions of 4he Act and formed into a Domain Board, it could not ask for a grant. It was suggested that some alteration should be made in the Act, so that it could get -fcho grant, and tho amount wanted was £500. The Prime Minister eaid that such a 6um was quite out of the question, but he would go into the matter with their member and see what could be done.
