The Government troops subsequently defeated the '"Wolves," who aro now surrounded. The "White Wolves" broke the Government cordon, and looted and burnt the village, including the Mission House. The missionaries aro safe, and ' a large army i« attempting to bar tho marauder-.' march northwards The '-White Wolves" evaded the cordon by back, and brcakmg through small columns of the Government troops.
