In the acceptances for tho Canterbury Park Trotting Club's Winter Meeting, published yesterday morning, Kelso, 6sec, was omitted from the Sockburn Handicap. Acceptances for the Ashburton Trotting Club's winter meeting close at ) p.m. on Monday. This meeting, whinh takes place on Thursday next, should furnish some good racing, as the nominations received were exceptionally numerous. A special train will leave Christchureh at 10.15 a.m. on Thursday. The Canterbury Park Trotting Club's Winter Meeting will be brought to a conclusion to-day and better weather may be expected than was experienced on Wednesday. The fields engaged in the various events are remarkably aood both in point of numbers ard Quality. and there is every prospect of some really high-class racirg The first race will start at 11.45 a.m.. and there will be a special service of trams from the Square.
