TO-DAY'S MATCHES. Tbe various competitions will be advanced a farther stage to-day. At the Sbow Grounds, the chief attraction will be the Sydenham-Linwood gam©, in front of tho tand. The South suburbs hayc given fine exhibitions in their previous matches, and have yet to be beaten, their chief feature being the combination of tho backs. Linwood rely principally on their forwards, and the Green and Blacks ehould be hard to beat. Mr C. J. Pcarce will be referee On the east ground City will play St Albans, and an even game should result. The City team ' have improved from last week, and should give their supporters a good showing. Mr W. McGregor will referee. For the second division, Sydenham play at St. Albans Park (referee, Mr J. Auld), and Addington play Linwood on the South Park (referee, Mr "J. Puddle). The third grade matches aro:—Federal and Addington, South Park (referee, Mr W. Campbell); Linwood v. Sydenham, North Park (referee, Mr W. Gray).
