Indignation has been aroused in military circles at the action taken by the Military Board on tho report by the Court of Inquiry into the Liverpool camp riot in December last, tho decision being to call upon prominent officers to show cause why they should not bo retired or otherwise dealt with. It is stated that if similar methods of administration are continued, officers may resign their commissions. Ono officer says that tho circumstances contain all tho elements of an Australian Dreyfus case-eecret reports and punishment without trial.
