Tho city police have been called out to preserve order. Tho immigration authorities withdrew the special officers sent aboard, as their presence was obnoxious to the Hindoos, who thereupon declared themselves satisfied. „ VANCOUVER, Juno 2.
Upon receiving intelligence from India that Lord Hardioge was unable to secure entrance for Hindoos to Canada, tho Komagata Maru's contingent decided to abandon the fight and return to India.
Counsel who were attempting to secure their admission announce that they have given up their briefs. . • ' 4
