EXPORT OF GOLD AND SILVER

(SPECIAX TO "___ FBESS.-') WELLINGTON, June 2. The export of gold from tho Dominion during -ho past five months was 741,140 ounces va ued at £556,707, or 11,260 ounce., of the value of £42,371, lese than during the corresponding period of last year. The quantity of silver exported since the beginning of the year was 309,096 ounces, valued at £32,645. a decrease of 107,181 ounces, valued at £12,953. Over 11,000 fewer ounces of gold, valued at £37,547, wero exported last month than in May, 1903.
