(TRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, June 1. Tbo Ross Goldfields mine superintendent reports as follows, under date of May _3tn, for thc previous week's work:—"Sixth level, workings No. 6 south have been extended to 36 feet from line of No. 2 east, wash payable; No. 2 ea6_t .-tended to 6. feet from No. 5 south, wash of medium quality; No. 5 south has r>een driven to 108 feet from opening, v.-ush poorer in l_st few 6ets; No. _ south ha 3 been driven a further distance of 12 feet, and is now 52 feet from opening; wash in this drive, though nice-looking, is of low quality; one party is blocking in _.o. 2 south, one party in No. 3 south, and one in No. 5 south. These faces are in wash o£ fair quality."
