TATTERSALL'S HORSE BAZAAR, H. Matson and Co. report having an entry of 48 horses on Saturday. The demand for draughts was, as has been the case for some time past, dull, and sales were hard to make except for, anything showing special qualities. A good few aged but useful hacks were entered, and these met with a fairly ready sale at prices fully up to market rates. On account of Mr E. Bowes, Matson and Co. sold an aged trotting . gelding, Greendale, at 16gns. Account Mr H. A. Boyle, Ellesmere, three year-old draught mare £2G 10s, a four-year-old filly £10, hack gelding £6, and an aged mare £5 10s; on account J. D. Anderson, Medbury, an aged gelding £10; account F. Field, Kaituua, six-year-old hack £9 10s; account other vendors, agod draughts "'£ll, £12, and £14; hacks and harness horses £5 to *■_ for useful old 6orts.; ancient animals from£l up.
