+_ A FAIE DISPLAY. The C__ri__*y A. and P. Association, ■which had w postpone its "Winter Show on account of -the bad weather on Slay 22nd, ■held tho function on tbo Kirwee. Domain on Saturday lnat, in pleasant weather. It proved _ fainy __coe=_ful display, but tho attendance of tho public waa not large. Tho entries in. many of tha cla_«s were rather disappointing, and not at all le-p'resentativo of the district's capabilities, but-all-the wm« some ■excellent pot-toes, mangels, and carrots were shown, while in the garden section there were somo very fino specimens of vegetables, etc. Tho exhibit of fruit was of -mall dimensions, but the all-round ouatitv was good. The house __d dairy section attracted weaker competition than is usually- __» caoo at country ebo-., tho came remark applying to grain and _ooda.»' The officials did their beat to make the e_ow go off well, ami succeeded creditably.
