At tbo Lyttelton Club Hall- on Thursday, the Lyttelton Gymnasium Swimming Club held a very successful progressive euchre _ tournament, followed by a dance. The prizes for the winners of the tournament, aad of th* vaTiou= event* decided durinp the year, were preeenicd by the presidest, Mr E. A. Curtis, who took advantage of the occasion to coajratulato tbe club on tbe eucoessful season just closed, and to refer feelingly to tbe loss «u«Uiccd by tbe death of tbo late Mr G.
