NEWS AND NOTES.
COURTENAY A. AKD P. SHOW POSTPONED. On account of tho severity of the leather yesterdays tho Winter Show of the Courtenay A. and P. Association had to bo postponed, and it will probably be held on May 30th.
Quite a number of visitors and judges, including Messrs G. W. Forbes, M.P., and G. Witty, M.P., wont up, but jt was obviously impossible to hold a Show. Tho day -was bitterly cold, and a £earchin£ blast came down from the enow-covered Alps that could only be likened to a breath from the Pole. The Show Ground was covered with two or three inches of snow and slush, and all tho roads were streaming with floods of a similar icy mixture. It was bad enough at Kirwee, but local residents stated that matters wero worse still nearer the hills, where tho enowfall, had been heavier still, and the' storm raoro severe.
