FATALITY AT WAIMATE.

(r_.ESB ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WAIMATE, May 16. A man 6*xty years old was burned to death in a hut near the Waihao bridge last night. His charred remains wero found about seven o'clock this morning in a sitting position, with tho limbs burned off. Tho man's namo Mas Albert Mitchell, and he had been living there for about four years. Ho worked for farmers round about. At the inquest a verdict of accidentally burned was returned.
