EANGIORA.
The Rangiora Brass riand will play the lollowing programme of music on the rotunda, Victtna Park, to-morrow evening, commencing at 8 o'clock: — March, "Concordia" (Newby); waltz, "Fairy Love" -Rimmer); euphonium solo, "Jupiter" (Dawson); overture, "Diamond Star" (Rimmer); march, "Death or Glory" (Hall); waltz, "Fond Memories" (Round): selection, "-Memories of the Past"'(Rimmer); cornet solo. "Queen of the Earth" (Morelli); march, "Imperator" (Moorhouse). Last evening the members of the Rangiora Methodist choir were entertained at it complimentary social by -Mr and Mrs D. Graham. During the evenin"; presentations were made to Mr J. T. Withers (voluntary organist) and Mrs Withers, the former receiving a hall barometer and the latter a handsome ro?e-bowl. Several speakers referred to the importance of the musical portion of th" Church service, and the very valuable heln given by Mr Withers and his choir. A programme of vocal solos and choruses was much appreciated. At the close of vhe gathering the Rfy. W. Wills, on'behalf of the guests/heartily thanked Mr and Mrs Grahahi."
