Millar. 1 Tho appointment of selectors for the other teams was left in the hands of the committee. The proposed amendments by tho Canterbury Rugby Union to its interpretation rules were approved. The Club's delegates to the Canterbury Rugby Union wctb requested to bring under the notice of the Union tho advisability of the sports bodies being more adequately represented on the Christ-church Domain Board under tho new system of representation. It was decided to open the season on Saturday week. ADDINGTON LEAGUE CLUB. The annual meeting of tho Addington Rugby League Football Club wa s held on Tuesday night, Mr D. Brown presiding. The annual report stated that the club started the last season v.-;th a membership of seventeen and concluded with a membership of ninety. The ccr.icr tcim tied for eecond place in the Thackcr Shield competition, and the junior team won the Junior Flag. The financial pssition of the club was very satisfactory. The annual general meeting of tho Easternv Football Club was held on Monday, Mr A. C. Maxwell presiding. The report and ba'.ance-eheet were adopted.
