RANGIORA.

Yesterday there was a largo attendance at the Rangiora sale. In the stock yards th© entry was 8732 sheep, of which 4503 were rat, 72 cattle, and 186 pigs. The prices wore:—Fat lambs. 18s to 19s Id; lighter, 14s to 17s 9d; fat wethers, 17s "9d to 20s IOd; fat ewes, 13s to 17s IOd; soundmouthed ewes, 18s 6d to 21s 3d; fail-ing-mouthed, lis 7d to 15s 3d; culled three-quarterbred two-tooths, 17s 7d to 18s 6d; merino owes to 17s lid; threequarter forward ewe lambs, 15s 2dj rape lambs, 15s 2d; two-toothed forward wethers, 16s 9d to 18s; forward ewes, 12s to 13s.

CLEARING SALE AT EIFFELTON. Messrs Friedlander Bros., in conjunction with the National Mortgage and Agency Co., held a clearing sale at Eiffelton, Longbeach district, on Monday, on behalf of the trustees in the estate of the late Mr Matthew Stitt and Mr J. R. Hart. There was a large attendance. Bidding was very keen, and every lot submitted was disposed of at good prices.
