EXTRAORDINARY ESCAPES. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.. SYDNEY, March 16. Extraordinary escapes characterised tho railway disaster. One man and his wife escaped witn a slight shock, while Minnis and wife, who were sitting on the opposite seat, wero killed. Another passenger, sitting still, had two dead bodies thrust upon him. Several children in the two carnages which were telescoped were thrown into a corner. On the debris being lifted, they were found none the worse for their startling experiences. So completely were the four compartments wrecked that it is marvellous how any escaped.
