The Researoh Committee of the Fabian Society, after a careful investigation into the working of the Insurance Act, reports that there is reason to fear that practically all the societies having a large proportion of women have exceeded the estimates of sick benefits by from 25 per cent, to 100 per cent. The committee belioves that the first year's claims will exceed the actuaries' estimates by nearly £1.000,000.
