GLOBE THEATRIC.
Tho new prograrr.rao the Olobe Theatre yesterday was headed by a. thrilling drama "Tho Poison Tree The plot related to a terrible state ot iealousv between two sisters which led to a dire tragedy carried out in an unexpected way. "Mixing dentines' was an amusing comedy. it was vie tale of two Kirls, twins, who got jobs in the olhce of two partners. iiio partners are inclined to bo say, and invite the girls out. Some misunderstanding occurs and the two lot* sec mixed up, tho trouble being righted only when tho inevitable explanations are' given. Another conudy was "Mabel's Stratagem." A business man engages a pretty typist, but has to discharge her by command ot Ins wife, who insists that he shall employ men only. The girl masquerades as a man. and not only gets her own job back, but actually exercises a somewhat alarming fascination over the employer's wife. There are some carryings on. and tho man finally starts divorce proceeding* against his wife, but the situation is saved by the girl declaring herself. Several good supporting pictures were also shown. Joday the same films will be screened continuously from noon till 10.30 p.m.
