Arthur Eapley, who did not appear, was fined 20s aud costs for allowing a oow to trespass in the railway yard at Selwyn. j Cnarges against Mervyn Paget and Michael McCormack for failing to render personal service ns required by thc Defence Act, which were adjourned from the previous sitting of the Court to allow the defendant* to procure medical certificates, were struck out. as there was no appearance of the parties on either side. , Ju E. M. Ti'oodard v. A. J. Brown, claim for rent £1 12s, and possession of a tenement, judgment was given for plaintiff with costs, possession to be given up within a week. The case, Woodard v. Brown, for los rent and possession of a tenement, was adjourned for a month.
