(Received March 4th, 8.40 p.m.) NEW YORK. March 3. In the Davis Cnp ties, Australia meets Canada in the first round, and Belgium meets Britain. Germany and Franco have byes. Germany meets the winner of the Australia-Canada match, and France moots the winner of tho Britain-Bel-gium series. Mr Wrenn, • chairman of the America., committee, expects that Canada and Australia will play their matches in tho United States, also the German, contestants. Mr Wrecn is negotiating with Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia. in order to fix on tho dates for matches., CHFA-lOT CLUB. Second round: Mrs Geo acr beat Mra Wilkinson acr, Mrs Langeecn 1C beat Mia* Fraaer 20, Mifa Saunders a bye. Third round: Mrs Gee fecr boat Mia* Saunders 14, Mra Langoeen a bye. Final: Mm Langesen 1G beat Mra Gee ecr. At a meeting of thc committeo on Tuesday the question of affiliation to th© Chriatchurch Centre was discussed, and it wa* rcaolred to -helvo the matter till the annual meetine. It was arranged to play Spot-wood on the 14th i_-t., Kaikoura on tho 21st inst., and Wniau on the 29th inst. A combined tournament was al_o arranged lor.
