INSTRUCTION AT REDG'LIFFS.

On Saturday afternoon the Engineers mustered eixty strong on the Redcliffs riflo range, under Captain Midgley, Lieutenants E. J. Barnee, and G. Evans, assisted .by Staff-Sergeant-Major Grover, for the purpose oi going through the annual musketry course. All present paescd the course. At the con-chmo-n, a competition was held for the Recruits' Cup, and two other trophies at 200 yards, the winners being Sapper Salvesen 1, Sapper HeSord 2, Sapper Rolton 3. The No. 6 Mounted Field Ambulance struck carop early yesterday morning, after being under canvce (night and morning) for the past nine dnys. Lieutenant-Colonel Fenwick ivae in command, MPistcd by SergeantMajor Fiehcr. During the time a gTeat amount of useful work wne done. On Sundiy afternoon the men received a fair number of visitors, who were provided with afternoon tea. Fonr companies of Senior Codets paraded last Saturday to fire their annual musketry course, namely, No. 83 Company (Linwood) 82, under Lieutenant McKinney; No. .8b Company- (Richmond) 30, under Lieutenant Russell; No. 87 Company (St. Albans) 12, under Lieutenant Stanley; No. 10 Company 40, under Lieutenant McHugh. Steff Sergeant-M«jors Mellowe, Mcliullon, and' Henderson were also in attendance.
