Dr. Mawson was officially treloomeel last night by a large gathering, including the Governor-General, Lord Deniuan, at the University;
Sir Samuel TiTay, yrho presided, read a message frem the King, congratulating Dr. Mawson and his colleagues on their successful achiereraents. and regretting the loss of their bsave comxades.
Sir Samuel Wey paid a tribute te the explorers' work. Dr. Mawsen. be said, had written his name high on the scroll of imperishable r<?nor;n as a great Austra.ian here.
Lord Ucflman said that the expedition had established a record of brar«ery, heroism, and endurance.
