0 LABOUR PROSPECTS AT WANGANUI. (special to "tiiz tbess.") W.SNGANUI, February 23. Mr Veitch, M.P., addressed about fifty persons at Castlecliff regarding tho prospects of labour. The meeting resolved to form a branch oi tho United Labour Party. A few extremists and Red Feds, have started a branch of the Social Democratic Party, with the object of running Mr D". Conchie. the local Union secretary, for the Wanganui seat. No one, however, takes them seriously.
