DRUNKENNESS. A first offender for drunkenness was convicted and ordered to pay medical expenses amounting to £6 13_.
applied for witnesses' expenses nnu cost*. Judgment was finally given tor defendant, with costs £'>.
R. Lester appeared in answer to a charge of being unlawfully on premises. Mr Johnston appeared for defendant, who nut in a written statement to the effect that he would leave the district. The charge was withdrawn, and defendant liberated. The case Doucall and Uphani v. J. H. Pooley. was held over till March 4th.
