"THE KING OF THE AIR."

' The very large audience present at the Colesseuni last night had every reason to be highly pleaded -with the programme of Fuller's Pictures that \va_ presented. In the past patrons of this popular moving picture theatre have been kept au courant with the latest and most interesting developments in .cinematography, and they wero again kept up-to-date in the matter of tho latest novelty in kmematograph art. It is, perhaps a daring Statement to make that the lengthy film screened laat night, "Ihe King of thc -lir," surpasses any previous picture thrown on the screen in this city, but those who have seen it, and the many more who will see it, will probably have no hesitation in concurring in that opinion. Aviation is not only in the air; it is .the common topic ot comment of those on terra hrmaj and ! aviation is the theme ot the beauciiul Pathe-colour film screened at the Colosseum for the first time last night. The plot is an absorbing one. Ihe beholder is introduced to a Parisian family consisting of mother and daughter the first-named a speculator in shares and the daughter a student of medicine. An aviator, the son ot a banker, is the lover of the daughter. Unsuccessful speculation results in the mother being- beggared, and to retrieve the family fortune- thc aviatorlover enters for an aviation race, the winner to receive 300.000 francs. Just as he i- upon the point of winning tho aviator meets with a mishap and is attended to by his sweetheart, who is in charge of th? ambulance corps. All ends hanpily with the marriage of thlovers. " The outstanding features of the film aro the great attention to detail in settings and costumes—the actors and actresses show that they know how to wear their clothes with effect—and the realism of the flight on the hero's aeroplane, the beholder feeling as if he were actually Hying in tho air. The outstanding feature of the flight is tho realistic representation of the scenery flown over. Another outstanding feature of tho film is the "gri_-.lv bear" dance given by the "Tango King." This is an artistic performance, which gives an excellent idea of the latest development of tho art of dnn-jing. The sui. sorting pictures were well chosen, and the selections given by the orchestra were admirably rendered. .To-night the 1 same pictures will be screened.
