PARIS, February 13
A French bank has obtained- a concession from China to construct a railway from Yanchow to Hungking, a distance of a thousand miles, at a cost of £4,000,000.
Tho preliminary agreement stipulates the unconditional payment of £800,000, and the concession is virtually a bargain for money.
British enterprise stands no chanco unless similarly financed.
