GLENTUNNEL.

• A vecv succeMful concert in aid of the School Picnic Fund was given in the Glentunnel School on Friday evening. Tho (schoolroom was uncomfortably crowded, and a great many had to be content with standing room outside. The programme, consisting of songs, recitations, dances, drill itoms, and dialogues, was contributed by the childron of tho school. Great credit is due to the mistresses. Misses Barlow and Jones, and also to Mrs Allard, for the successful manner in which the children gave the various items. After tho concert dancing was kepi up till an early hour.
