DESPERADOES RAID RJ3STAURANT. .. POLIOS INTERVENE. ("Thnfl." Sjdrwy •"Sun" SpoajaJ C*ble.) (Received February 13th, 6.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, February 13. Seven mhn entered tho Tripoli restaurant, in the Italian quarter, and held up the diners. A knife was held at each person's throat while his pockets were cleaned out. The thievta took rings and acarf-pins, and. emptied tho cash registers, their haul totalling £300. Police disturbed the desperadoes, who sought to escape. A guest seised one, and was stabbed in tho abdomen. The wound will probably be mortal. The police made three arrests.
