The King's outspoken utterances regarding defence to tho recent deputation of peasants, mado without first consulting his Ministers, annoyed tho Government.
The Cabinet requested his Majesty in future, when he contemplated expressing political views, to deign to inform his Ministers beforehand.
The King declined to relinquish his right to speak freely to the Swedish people.
