Professor David, in his lecture before the Geographical Society, said ho was almost certain that payable gold would be found in the Antarctic.
Sir Ernest Shacklnton said he wanted to cross the Antarctic before any other nation could claim the honour.
Sir Ernest Shackleton denies that Sir J. M. Bnrrie has given £10.0 CO to Tho first donation, £35.000. is from The- first donation of £35.000 is from an anonymous friend.
