THE LEADER OF THE OPPOSITION.
CiFECIAi TO "THE PRS3S-") INTERCAItGILL, February 10Sir Joseph Ward, Leader of the Opposition, arrived, in company with Lady Ward, by the late express last night. In conversation with a "News" reporter, Sir Joseph said he intended to remain in Southland for a week or t«n days, during which he would deliver an* important political address at Winton, but- on that occasion, for reasons which would suggest themselves, he would not disclose the whole of the policy of his party. Subsequently ho would visit various parte of Southland.
