(Received February 10th, 8.20 p.m.) LONDON, February l(t In connexion with the action for compensation arising from tho foundering of tho Titanic, the King's Bench Division ruled against the Oceanic Company on the reserved point of law whether the company could bo absolved from liability by tho condition attached to the back of the passenger ticket nullifying the contract printed on tho front of the ticket ensuring, to passengers compensation for negligence on tho part of tho company's servants. The company appealed against the ruling, but the Court of Appeal upheld tho judgment.
