ANNUAL MEETING. At the animal meeting of the Klleeniere I>o!nain Hoard, held at Leeston, thore were present:—Messrs E. J. Co-3-iin (chairman.), X.' F. Ooe, G. McClure, and J. A. Scott. The annual report road by -fae secretary. Mr W. Srott. stated that the work done during the year on the big domain includeil tiie trimming of fences and grubbing of gorse. the erection of ii jiieket fence round the saddling paddock, repairs to the grandstand, fencing nine new greens for the Ellesmere Golf Club, and repairs to th«,training track. In addition, an artesian well had been sunk at Osborne Park. "DoyWton. and a windmill and a ladies' cloak room had been erected on j tile -Southbridga Recreation Ground. t The balance-sheet showed receipts I amounting to £391 16s 9d, including a balance of £278 3s l<l from the previous year. The chief item on the receipts side was £93 10s for rents. The expenditure amounted to £214 13s. the chief items being maintenance of large domain Ll'2 los Id, materia!* £2" O* 3d. improvements Southbridge Domain £03 7s 7d, improvements Doyleston Domain £31 7s 10d. The credit balance was £177 3s 9d. The report and balance-sheet wer* adopted, and Mr CoTran was re-elected chairman for the ensuing year.
