Bethuno (Wellington), and Mr jl Morrison (Auckland). Colonel Wolfe. Colonel Baoetoo. Colonel Strong. Colonel Chaffey Cantain Robinson. Major Grant, and Major Moir were among the passengers far Wellington on Saturday evening. The Rev Dr W. F. Adeney. ex-' chairman of the Congregational Union:' of England, who ts at present in Ne» Zealand, will attend tho meetings of the Now Zealand Congregational Union to bo held in Auckland on Febriurv 11th. Dr. Adeney will risit CkrS church early in March. Mr L. G. Tavlor, who has been tratuforred from the Magistrate's Court Office in Christchurch to the office of the Under-Secretary foi Justice in Wellington-was on Tuesday presents by Mr H. "w. Bishop, S.M* onbK of tho Magistrate s Court staff, with a cases of pipes, a tobacco pouch, and a fountain pen.
