RANGIORA.
There was an unusually large attendance at the Rangiora market yesterday. In the stock sale yards there was an* entry of 1500 sheep, of which 150 were fat, ICO cattle, and 150 pigs. Prices were:—Fat lambs. 17s to 19s Od: fat wethers, 19s to 235; fat ewes, 10s 0d to 19s; unshorn ewes, 235; ewes and lambs, all counted, Its; four and sixtooth wethers, 1/s 6d: two-tooth wethers. 14s to los (Id. Cattle—Fat steers, £7 to £8 10s: fat cows. £6 10s to £8; eijrhteen-month to two-year-old cattle, £3 10s; wives, los; springers, £7 10s to £9. Pigs—Baconers. 53s to 70s; porkers. 35s to 335: stores, 25s to 275; small pigs, 13s to 20s.
In the produce yards the prices wero —Heavy sheepskins, 8s 3d; medium, 6s 6d; lighter, 5s 6d; merino sheepskins, 6s; pelts. Is 6d; calf skins, 2s; hides, tijd; fleece wool, S'Jd: crutchings, 4.d; fat, IJd ; horsehair. Is. Poultry— Roosters 6s couple, hens 3s, pullets 4s, ducks Cs, geese 8s 6d, turkeys 255; chick wheat, 4s bushel; oats. 2s 6d; feed barley, 3s; grass seed, 2s; blue peas. 3s; beans, 3s 6d; bran, 5s 9d; sharps, 9s 6d; pigmeal. 10s; oatsheaf chaff, 3s 6d ; straw do.. Is 6d ; potatoes, 3s, new potatoes, Id lb : green peas. Is f>d peck.
