WOOTTON MANNED AT KAIAPOI.
On Thursday tho s.s. Wootton, laid up at Kaiapoi for a day by the crew , being called out, shipped a new crew ■who were anxious to keep the trado of tbo Kaiapoi Shipping and Trading Company going. Tho steamer wont out fully loaded with flour and produce for the North Island, and will put into Puponga on returning for a , load of coal to supply the town and district at the earliest opportunty. Great interest was taken in tho matter, and the new crew was • warmly • congratulated upon going aboard. \
