SCOTTISH SOCIETY.
Tho twelfth annual "gathering of the clans" was held in tho Scottish Society's rooms last evening, wnen thoro was a crowded attendance. Visitors were present from all parts, and the national dress was much in evidence. A splendid programme was provided, and enthusiastically received by the audience. The following contributed items:—Pipe solutions, l'ipors Kouald b'rascr and Major tf. i£. Craig; songs, Miss Gilmour, Mrs 1). "W. Stafford, and Messrs It. Simpson, VVrn. Aitehison, Struthers, W. J. Trcworn, Kobert l'tnman, and W. T. .Viackay; .Highland fling, lMLss Mona Forbes; Soann TriubJais. Master Bert Simpson; Gillie CaJum, Master Douglas Martin: liighland reel, Mioses Elsio Clark and Kord, and Masters Douglas Martin and Cbas. Robb; Reel o' Tulloch, Misses Mona Forbes and Phylis Seymour, and Masters Charles Brown and Bert Simpson; cornet solo, Mr W. J. Sullivan; recitation, Mrs Hugh Macleod; instrumental quartet, Messrs Sullivan uros. and party. Miss Bessie Macdonald played the aocompaniments. To-night a grand Scottish concert will be given in the Society's rooms.
