A series of articles of tho most malicious character have been begun in German papers to deter Germans from emigrating to other countries. The ''Lokal Anzeiger" 6tates that the chief product of Canadian towns is pamphlets about their own virtues. It describes passengers on tho railways as powerful athletes, unshaven, and wearing dirty boots, into which aro stuck hairy legs clad iv silk socks.
