SHIPPING NOTES.
The Federal and Shire Lino's chartered steamer Hurnnui left Liverpool last Sunday for Now Zealand ports, via Las Palraas, Melbourne, and Sydney. The vessel is due at Lyttelton about January oth. The Shaw, Savill end A:bion liner lonic, which sailed from Wellington on October 2nd, left Monte Video on the 23rd mat., for London, where oho » expected to arrivo on November 13th. The Niagara, -which is bound for Vancouver, did not leave Auckland until 4' p.m. on Saturday last, about eighteen hours behind her usual time, the delay being caused by the lato arrival of passengers and mails by tho Main Trunk cxprese. She is expected to make up tho loet time, however, on hex run across tbe Pacific.
