(By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, October 29. Lord Bailfour of Burleigh's arbitration award has reduced the Scottish miners' wages from 7e 6d to 7s 3d per day. P. AND oTtROUBLE. GRIEVANCES SETTLED. Two sittings were held of the P. and O. Conference, the chairman and secretary of the Merchant Service Guild being spokesmen for the officers. All the 'outstanding difficulties were satisfactorily settled and the resignations withdrawn. The settlement affects 450 officers.
